Guruseva Dhurina Padmashree Dr. V. R. Gowrishankar has been administering the Sringeri Math with its vast estate and properties, having more than one hundred and fifty branches throught the country since 1986 as per the directions of the Jagadguru Shankaracharya of the Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetham.

As the Administrator and the CEO of the Math, Dr. V. R. Gowrishankar has been spearheading and supporting many developmental and other activities in a wide array of fields. Dr. Gowrishankar is a Trustee of SVBF Canada.

Dr. Gowrishankar visited SVBF Canada on Tuesday June 26 and distributed the prasadam he had brought from Sringeri. He also gave a very inspiring speech on Values in Life and why it was very important to follow some great values for all Hindus. Dr. Gowrishankar also touched upon the definition and importance of Guru in human life. Devotees attended in large numbers and was listened to Dr. Gowrishankar till the end.
