Lalitha Sahasranama Kumkumaarchana
During Navathri - September 29 to October 07

Navratri is celebrated three times a year. Ashwina Navratri, Chaitra Navratri and Saran/Sharad Navratri, which is also known as Maha Navratri (Great Navratri) and is observed in September or October.

In practice, it is the post-monsoon autumn festival called Saran Navaratri or Sharad Navratri that is the most observed in the honor of the divine Devi. The festival is celebrated in the bright half of the Hindu calendar month Purattasi/Aswayuja/Ashvin which is typically falling in the months of September and October in this year. It is believed that any Puja, Mantra-anushthan, muhurta, new venture done during this period is 1000 times more auspicious than the normal days.

At SVBF Temple we will be performing Lalitha Sahasranama Kumkumaarchana on all days of Navaratri and invite Sumangalis to participate and perform the Kumkumaarchana to Devi Sharadamba on all days or any one or more days. the kumkumaarchana will be performed at 6.30 pm every day during this Navaratri - September 29, 2019 to October 07,2019.
